The gap adjustment of the cam divider mainly involves the adjustment of the input and output shaft gap and axial position. When the input and output shaft gap is too large, it can be adjusted by adjusting the eccentric cover of the divider input shaft. The eccentric cover of the input shaft is located on the T surface and U surface of the divider, and its center is in an eccentric position. By adjusting the position of the eccentric cover, the gap can be reduced or increased. First loosen the fastening screws of the eccentric cover, observe the position and shape of the eccentric cover, reduce or increase the gap as needed, and rotate the eccentric cover in the direction of smaller or larger eccentricity.


When adjusting the axial position, it is necessary to ensure that the rotation angles of the T-surface and U-surface of the divider input shaft are consistent to maintain the balance of the axial position. The axial position can be adjusted by adjusting the clamping cover on the inner side of the eccentric cover of the input shaft. When the axial offset of the input shaft is found, adjust the clamping cover inward to increase the gap, otherwise, adjust the clamping cover outward to reduce the gap. During the adjustment process, it is recommended to combine precision measurement and observation to ensure the accuracy and stability of the adjustment results.



The adjustment of the cam divider involves multiple factors, including axial and radial accuracy, runout error of the divider disc, smoothness and preload size, etc. Therefore, the adjustment process needs to comprehensively consider multiple factors and combine personal skills and operating experience. The final accuracy measurement results of the cam divider of the same model and station may be different due to the adjustment technology and operating experience of different engineers.
