The cam divider has broken shaft after being used for a period of time. For the DS series dividers, both the input shaft and the output shaft are broken. For the dividers of other series, it is mainly the input shaft that is broken. What is going on? How to solve it?
The causes of broken shafts can be roughly divided into three categories:
Quality problems or production process problems, for example, high-frequency processing during the production process reduces the original toughness and causes broken shafts. The probability of this happening is very low. Cam dividers have a history of more than 20 years in the mainland, and the technology in this area is already very mature, so the probability of this happening is relatively low.
Selection problem: the shaft diameter may be too thin during production and processing. For example, in order to cater to the aperture of the reducer, the connecting shaft of the divider is made thinner, resulting in broken shaft;
Broken shafts caused by improper use, poor levelness when the divider is connected to the motor reducer or other connecting parts, can easily lead to broken shafts. This situation often occurs after a period of use or on some old equipment. Over time, the position has changed slightly, and the force condition of the input shaft has changed, which can easily lead to broken shafts. In this case, it is important to measure the levelness of the connection parts when repairing the equipment. This needs attention.
