I wanted to organize and share this machine adjustment case a long time ago, but I didn’t have the right materials, so I never put it together. Today I encountered this kind of problem again, so I borrowed the materials sent by the customer to share it.
During the assembly and debugging of the new machine, some customers reported that after the large disc was fixed to the cam divider, the holes on the disc did not match the holes on the tooling, as shown in the video below:
Please pay attention to the two holes on each workstation on the edge of the disc. The deviation from the edge tooling is quite large, and the angle of deviation of each workstation is the same. When encountering this situation, don't worry. The problem can be solved by adjusting the machine according to the steps below.
The first step is to ensure that the divider stops at the static position, also called the start-stop position or the initial position, as shown in the following figure: the keyway of the input shaft of the divider faces the A end.
The second step is to make sure that the splitter is in a stationary position and mark the six fixing holes on the disc, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. As shown below:
The third step is to loosen the fixing screws, select a fixing hole marked as A on the output flange of the divider, and then fix it with 1 and A on the disc to see if the disc hole is aligned with the tooling hole. If there is still a deviation, fix it with the No. 2 hole of the disc and the A of the divider. Try this in sequence. If you are a little unlucky, you can find the correct position after six attempts. As shown below:
I have been in this industry for more than ten years. I will carefully answer and record the questions raised by customers. While serving customers well, I also accumulate and summarize experience to facilitate myself and my friends in the same industry to better serve customers in the future.
I would also like to thank this friend for the materials he provided. Regarding the issues regarding cam dividers, LVNCAM cam divider manufacturer, LVN Automation , welcomes communication and learning with everyone.
