The lubrication of the cam divider has an important influence on its normal operation and life.
The first is the oil filling process. Before using the divider, the oil filling operation must be performed. However, during the oil filling process, the mixing of iron filings, oil residues and dust will cause wear of the cam ridges, bearings and rollers, thereby reducing the accuracy of the divider. Therefore, when filling the oil, you need to wipe the oil port clean first, and then use clean oil to fill it. The amount of oil filling should be in accordance with the oil mark requirements.
The second is the time to change the oil. The first oil change should be carried out after 1000 hours of operation, and the second oil change should be carried out within 3000 hours after the last oil change. Even if the operating time is shorter, the oil should be changed once a year.
The viscosity coefficient of the lubricant used depends on the speed of the divider. The following is a reference table of lubricant viscosity coefficients:
- Speed range is 0-20 rpm, viscosity should be greater than 680 ct/40 °
- Speed range is 20-100 rpm, viscosity needs to be between 630-460 ct/40 °
- The speed range is 100-200 rpm and the viscosity needs to be between 460-320 ct/40 °
- The speed range is 200-300 rpm and the viscosity needs to be between 320-220 ct/40 °
- The speed range is 300-400 rpm and the viscosity needs to be between 220-150 ct/40 °
- The speed range is 400-500 rpm and the viscosity needs to be between 150-90 ct/40 °
Maintaining proper lubrication of the cam divider is the key to ensuring its normal operation and extending its life. Regularly check the quality and quantity of the lubricating oil, and perform oil filling and oil change operations in a timely manner to maintain the good working condition of the divider and improve its accuracy and reliability. At the same time, pay attention to the correct selection of the viscosity coefficient of the lubricating oil suitable for the speed range to ensure sufficient lubrication, reduce wear and friction, and extend the service life of the divider.
